During the install process if you go advanced then you will get an install location request, this is where you want to install it, you don't have to create the directory beforehand as the game will create it for you. So uninstall if you installed there and re install into a root directory, something like C:\JPGenesis. Trouble with this is that when you install there it can stop the game or program from working due to the way Windows Vista and newer manages security and harmful applications.
I am guessing that you are installing this off a disc as it is not available on Steam, GOG or any other of the digital download stores that I can find.įirst off, one of the biggest things with older games and modern versions of Windows is using the standard install directory, usually in C:\Program Files.
